In my work, the forms become narratives of personal and societal events, and the process of painting brings clarity which solidifies a sense of empathy. I document the internal path of healing and examine the connections between place, its people, and the markers left over time. Layers of processing acknowledge the path towards peace. The compositions trace emotional language in the goal towards balance. I create as means to understand the systems I am within, the relationships I develop, and how our human condition evolves as we become better versions of ourselves.
